About Me

Hello, I’m Louise

Independent Funeral Celebrant

So Much to Do, So Many Emotions.

Let Me Help.

Thank you so much for visiting my website.  My name is Louise Thomas, and I am an Independent Funeral Celebrant.

I live in Buckinghamshire, with my faithful pets, Wispa – a rescue dog, and Tinca (Belle), my tabby cat.  I have two gorgeous grown-up sons, who are my world.  My lovely husband, David, passed away in July 2012.  He taught us a lot and he gives us strength every day.

David and I ran a successful family business in events, organising corporate hospitality mainly at sporting events, nationwide. Our clients trusted us, and were loyal to us.  In return, we gave them excellent personal service and attention to detail, and over the years they became our friends. It was hard work, but fun – mainly because of the amazing people we met along the way.

I was PA to the Managing Director of a Men’s Accessories brand, and was a carer in a residential care home for the elderly.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, I looked after vulnerable people in their homes.  I was fortunate enough to meet and support some incredible people – real characters – who will always remain in my heart.

I like to bring people together. I have always given my all to make people smile, and to make the best of situations. I have raised money for charities, and will always go the extra mile to make someone happy.

I love people. I care about people.  I like to be there for people.  Relationships are everything to me.

Sadly, death has featured heavily in my life.  I have lost my husband, my father, and several dear friends and family members over the years.  This has created a special empathy in me, and a desire to help others who are experiencing grief in the loss of their loved ones.  I ‘get it’, and I want to be there for you, to support you through it.

I hope that you will give me the opportunity to be there WITH you and FOR you. Together we can share memories, and create the perfect ceremony to honour the memory of the person you have lost – in a way that is special to you, and all who knew them.

If there is anything you need from me, I will be there for you. Just say the word.

Louise, I felt I must let you know that I thought yesterday’s service was excellent. I want to thank you for everything you said and did to make the day so memorable. My husband would have given you 100%. It was perfect in every way.
